In response to recent legislation to Social Services Law sections 413(6), Chapter 646 of the Laws of 2023, you may be required to complete training on identifying indicators of abuse and maltreatment in children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be in full compliance. If you have completed the NYS OCFS Online Mandated Reporter Training between 11/1/2022 and 8/31/2025 you will need additional information in order to be in full compliance.
In an effort to streamline this process, you will not need to retake the entire training. We have created a short (15 minute) addendum on this additional topic.
You will be automatically registered for the addendum by logging into HSLC at https://www.hslcnys.org/hslc/ .
